Following chatter that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher might reunite as a couple - because the latter made a passionate speech and the two shared an embrace at a recent birthday party - an insider tells People that the stars are simply friends. Without benefits.
"The family is in a pretty good place right now, but Ashton and Demi won't go back to being what they were," this source tells the magazine. "Ashton will always be a part of their lives, especially with regard to the girls and how close he is with them."
Might we see the former couple interact again in public? Or hear stories about them getting along in private?
Sure, this mole confirms. But that's simply because Kutcher "will always support" his ex. Nothing more should be read into the relationship.
"[It] has evolved and will continue to," the friend says, but: "There are just too many issues to go back. It's about figuring out how to move forward into a new place."
UFC president Dana White is done with Jason "Mayhem" Miller. After losing to C.B. Dollaway in a bout that was booed for being less than thrilling and an unknown backstage incident, White said Miller is no longer with the UFC.
"Mayhem's done. He's gone," White said, adding that the incident was "just some bulls--t that I don't want to talk about. We're on a crazy string here of dumb bulls--t."
Miller fought in the UFC early in his career but then moved to Japanese promotions and to Strikeforce. He returned to the UFC with a coaching stint on "The Ultimate Fighter" that was followed by a bad loss to Michael Bisping.
White also was not happy with Miller's playful entrances for the weigh-in and his fight. Miller brought a pink boa and boom box to the weigh-in, and he wore a paper bag out to the Octagon on Saturday.
"When you get embarrassed the way he did against Michael Bisping, then you show up in that pink whatever that thing was, I'm not into that stuff," said White. "It's not my thing. I guess I don't really care if guys do it because you see it at weigh-ins all the time. Just take this thing serious. If you want to be a clown do that stuff on your reality show."
Miller is the host of MTV's "Bully Beatdown," a show that allows bullied teens to get their comeuppance against their tormentors via a trained fighter. He leaves the UFC with an overall record of 23-9, and no wins in the UFC.
Cain Velasquez wanted to make a statement in his first fight back after losing the UFC heavyweight belt to Junior dos Santos. He did that with a bloody, first-round TKO of Antonio "Big Foot" Silva.
Velasquez caught a Silva kick and took him down right off the bell. From there, Velasquez pounded away at Silva's face, opening a massive cut on Silva's nose. The cut gushed a ton of blood, more than is usually seen during a fight. It covered Silva's face and body, coated Velasquez's arms, and gathered in a pool next to them. The bout was stopped for a doctor to check the cut.
Silva tried to shake the blood off as the doctor looked at the cut. After the fight was allowed to continue, Velasquez kept throwing bombs at Silva's head until the bout was stopped at 3:36 in the first round.

Gabrielle Union kept it sexy on the beach this Memorial Day Holiday weekend with her sister-in-basketball Savannah Brinson. The two ladies were spotted soaking up the sun in their bikinis before cheering on their men at last night's Heat vs. Celtics playoff game.
Check the pics inside...
The seemingly flawless 39-year-old actress Gabby Union threw on her straw hat and teeny bikini to hit Miami Beach yesterday in all her tight and toned glory. She often tweets about her hard core workouts. And clearly they're paying off.
She and LeBron James' fiancee, Savannah, and another friend were spotted hitting the ocean and the sand on Memorial Day or some girly relaxation time.
Savannah's also been tweeting about her pre-wedding workouts as she donned a cute straw hat from Aldo.
Fun!
Gabby, who is filming her new BET show "Being Mary Jane" with writer Mara Brock Akil, is a spokesperson for Neutrogena's skin disease awareness campaign. She recently said about why people should pay attention to discolorations and moles:
'I don’t tan on purpose, but I do a lot of beach workouts. But I go SPF 110.
'As an African-American woman, culturally we have been told that we have natural protection against the sun, but we’re absolutely part of the one in five.
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve seen relatives’ moles change shape, and they think, "That’s cute — it’s like Janet Jackson!"
'But it’s not cute — it’s called melanoma.'
She's looking fantastic these days.
Then the Think Like a Man actress was spotted playing supportive girlfriend to Dwyane Wade later yesterday at Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals at American Airlines Arena. Heat won 93-79.
When Junior dos Santos set up his fight camp in Brazil, he carefully chose a team specifically designed to counter Alistair Overeem. With Overeem out, Cigano's team had to be adjusted mid-stream. First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by "The View" earlier today where she talked about being a mother in the White House, eating healthy and her own political goals. Deets inside....
Michelle Obama made her third appearance on "The View" today as she promoted her first book American Grown. The book focuses on the White House garden she started three years ago and includes tips about creating your own garden, recipes, and eating healthy.
Rocking a fab blue and white belted floral dress and blue kitten heels, she told the ladies of "The View" she was inspired to start the garden because she wanted daughters Sasha and Malia to be healthier. When the girls' doctor specifically said that she needed to watch their diet, she decided to take control. Michelle said she began with small, important changes like adding more water and fresh vegetables to the family's diet.
The hosts asked her about if she ever worries she is pushing her image of First Lady too far--like critics like to say (like hula-hooping on the South Lawn and appearing on tons of magazine covers and talk shows). She answered, "I have to be my authentic self. You all can smell inauthenticity a mile away." And she's right.
When the subject of racism came up, Mrs. Obama said she does think racism is a factor in this country but she added, "Barack Obama is the President of the United States. And this country put him in office."
She added that the majority of what she gets as she travels around the country is "love." "There is more that unites us than divides us. We are all fighting for a decent America."
She added that "Barack says when they go small and you go big--Always take the higher ground."
The First Lady, who says she usually goes to bed around 9 (after Mr. President literally tucks her in) even though Malia is now staying up later to do homework, says she and the President protect the girls from the negativity directed towards their Dad as best they can but she adds, "Your life is good either way. Their world is secure no matter what." She says the girls understand that Dad has rough days, but that they are loved and protected.
She added that she teases The President a lot but he DOES NOT tease her back.....it's part of the deal. Ha! I know that['s right....
Mrs. O. combated rumors of her own political agenda by confirming she would NEVER run for political office. After 48 years of life, she says she knows her passion--and it's not politics. But, she said, she will spend the rest of her life working for military families.

On Monday, Washington Nationals phenom Bryce Harper hit his first major-league home run. Tuesday night, he checked out the UFC on Fuel 3 fights and got to take a picture with UFC Octagon Girl/Playboy cover girl Brittney Palmer. It's a pretty good time to be Bryce Harper.
Palmer, who was on the cover of the February 2012 Playboy, quickly shot down any rumors that might get started from the picture. After gossip blogger Terez Owens wrote that the two had "coupled" up, she tweeted, "Watch your wording, buddy!"
After Harper was intentionally hit by Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels, it made sense for him to take in some cagefights. The pros showed him how to throw a punch, and that may prove valuable when the Nationals head to Philly next week.
Chan Sung Jung delivered with another great fight, this time taking Dustin Poirier into the fourth round before submitting him with a D'arce choke at UFC on Fuel 3 on Tuesday. He took home the Submission of the Night bonus while he and Poirier both earned Fight of the Night.
